Arevon Secures $250m Tax Equity for Kelso Solar Project
Last Updated: Sep 2025
Arevon Energy secured a $250 million tax equity commitment from Wells Fargo to finance its two‑phase Kelso Solar project in Scott County, Missouri.
The 430 MWdc Kelso Solar Project is currently under construction and is expected to become fully operational by early 2026. Upon completion, it will substantially increase Missouri's solar power capacity by nearly 50%. This development is projected to generate over 450 construction jobs, providing a significant boost to the local economy. In addition to the economic benefits, the project will contribute more than $34 million to local governments, supporting schools and infrastructure. The clean energy generated will power Meta's regional operations, helping the tech company meet its renewable energy goals.
This financing is a key part of the $4.5 billion in funding Arevon has secured for its solar and energy storage projects over the last two years.
